Big handed distance

Anyone with experience (that just about everyone!): Your recommended distance between throttle-prop-mixture controls (center to center) for a big handed guy? What do you find that works well -- and DOESN'T work well.

I can palm a basketball for a rough reference.

That's what is nice about these amateur builts -- custom fit!

I measured the distance between the throttle, prop and mixture in my C-182, and used the same in the RV. It worked well. I don't recall the numbers, but I can measure if you'd like.

Yes, I can do that, too. Come to think of it, it was kind of dumb for me to ask about it, but I though maybe someone would offer some kind of startling revelation - duh! Oh, well, some days are like that...
