Back seat

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but has anyone ever considered building a removable jumpseat in the back of an RV-7(A) for a child of the correct weight? Is it legal?

Wrong choice of words. "Shouldn't" was just a reference to possible liability or insurance issues related to installing something in an area where it was not designed. They are experimental, so we can pretty much do as we want. It was just a thought.
