AvMap non-gizmo mounting.

I have seen several AvMap gps units over the years mounted in a panel without using the gizmo. If you have one of these panels please share with me how you manufactured this. I am presently cutting my panel and want to mount my avmap without the gizmo...if you have pics that would be a big help too..thank you

I modified the knee board back plate with some tabs. It just pops right in.

I'll be helping install another one in the Montana RV-4 project soon. It has a mount from the previous owner, the pictures look like a cleaner install. I'll see if I can get a pic of the backside.

Avmap mounting

I did the same. Works good and a lot cleaner and less room required.
