Auto pilot pitch servo install

I'm doing the autopilot install and have run into a problem. On page 44A-04 it calls for me to put the control rod bolt on the end of the arm and then install the servo through the doubler & rib and bolt in. Well, I can come close to getting it through the rectangle cutout but it just won't make it.

Has anyone run into this? If so how did you handle it? By taking the arm off the servo? Enlarge hole? HELP!!

Thanks, Bill.

You beat me to it on your answer. I went through that same process yesterday! And I wondered why that bolt was in the upper aft hole (in the four hole mounting pattern). You use the flat headed screw in that spot versus the mounting bolts like you install in the other three positions. The flat screw allows room for the nutplate above it.
