auto fuel question

Hello. Eyeballing a 6 with a 0-320 e2d that was up'd to 160 HP...higher compression pistons, etc. Would this have any bearing in whether or not a person were to run auto fuel? Thx, DM

0-320 9.1 Pistons

Have 0-320 9.1 pistons 170HP. Left tank I use ethanol free mogas fixed with 1/3 100L. Right tank has 100L only for take offs and Landings. Mogas only will vapor lock on hot days on the ground taxing or hot start ups. Never had any problem in flight.

If auto fuel is my plan, then do I stay away from fuel injection...or anything over a certain HP? Thx, dm

If anything fuel injection is your friend when it comes to mogas especially the kind containing ethanol.
AFP's fuel controler is compatible with avgas or mogas, any kind.
There is a lot of good info in the archives just search "mogas".

our local airport is getting alcohol free mogas installed...soon.
so from what i've gathered here and throughout...it'll work just fine in anything I'll come across in a RV. thx
