Attaching photos in a conversation?

Is there a way to attach photos in a conversation? The photo is just a file on my computer but within the conversation, the only options is for a URL, there is no drag and drop window.

Well I just got to the point where I was confident on getting a pic into the conversation on the "old" format. That took about 10 years. Not sure I got enought time to figuer our the new procedure!!!

Yeah, but it wants an http:// address. I'm not smart enough to know how to do that.................

I'm a little reluctant to post this because it's somewhat antithetical to my point but I've never cared about donation recognition and have never felt the need to list my donation status in my signature. But having made a donation on January 1st, before the software change, left some of us hamstrung with regard to site functionality.
