I've talked to Dick after posting this and talking with Mark at AeroMomentum. Dick took a Viking off his 12 to put a Suzuki on it. Its my understanding that he is flying. We are still waiting on our engine.

I am really impressed by his level of experience, knowledge and openness. We also thought about other engines, after Lycoming and Conti (too heavy) and Rotax 912 (too weak), the AeroMomentum came out on top.
