Anyone switch to grove gear after stock gear mounted?

This is a follow on to a previous question I asked about gear. I'd like to install the grove gear on my -8. The stock gear have been mounted by the previous builder and are now removed. Has anyone replaced stock gear with grove gear AFTER the stock gear were installed? If so, did they bolt in place, or were there gotcha's/issues that had to be dealt with?
