anyone ever weigh their tail parts?

Anyone weigh their -4 tail pieces?
I am interested in comparing the weight of the -4 tail with the -8.
I weighed some -8 pieces, the scale is not that good but here is what I got.
(will re-weigh when I borrow a better scale)

rudder - 8.5 lbs
V-stab 8.5 lbs
H-stab 17.5
L elevator -8.5 lbs
R elevator 8.5 lbs.

Ron,
I will check my RV-4 tail parts next time I go to the hangar.

Tail feathers are primed not painted and no fiberglass caps.

Rudder = 4.5 lbs
Vert Stab = 7 lbs
Left Elev = 4.5 lbs
Right Elev = 4.5 lbs
Hor Stab = 19 lbs

I will re-weigh mine with a better scale. Will borrow one from work on Mon.
Looks like the big weight difference is in the counter-weights.
