using an O-360A4M with a rear mounted carburetor, i.e the Grumman Tiger/Beech Musketeer setup? I know I would have to modify the FAB to accommodate it or else change the sump to a vertical carb setup. I came a cross a local project and don't know if it's worth the time & trouble. Any comments?

We used an o360a4k with the rear facing sump,changed out the sump,been running good for 400 hrs so far,an easy change.

Yes...

...replacing the sump and carb. would be easier... ...and you will get better fuel distribution to the cylinders.

I'm sure the rear carb. would not fit a nosegear model, and the HA-6 carb should be worth a reasonable amount used...
