another rivet question

building the HS of my 9A...everything is riveted except the 3....470 4 -8 rivets that hold the inside main rib to spar to spar doubler to inside nose rib...can not use a squeezer....if bucked, buy a long set, but I don't think I can get everything down tight. right now with rivets in place I can get a feeler gauge up to the rivets....so pop rivets?? if so which ones, kind, size, length, or do I drill out the rivets to get the ribs out and tweak the flanges of the ribs....any thoughts are truly appreciated, and thank you
