Andair install question

Am I supposed to apply locktite to the faces of the panels? It seems like it would be a good idea. I can’t image friction only keeps a tight seal. My photo below shows where I believe some sort of sealant could go…

I didn't use any sealant in my andair valve.

The O-ring (not pictured) does the sealing work. You can put a little blue locktite on the screw threads.

I seem to remember an O-ring in there as well. Using a sealant where it's not required (i.e. NPT threads) could be inviting trouble with your fuel system. A little bit of superfluous goo can do a lot of bad things.
