Hey there everyone,

I’m sure this is a stretch but I’m heading up to see my wife that’s in Alaska for work later this week and thought I’d reach out to see if any RV folk would like to do some flying. Of course I’ll get your gas and $100 burger.

Most people in AK fly bush planes or other high wing setups because it’s far more important to land off field or carry a moose or skis/floats than go fast.

I lived there for 25 years and only saw one RV, though I’m sure there are more.

Crewser, I'd enjoy hearing about your trip or at least the highlights/lowlights, as I'm planning a roundtrip to my old stomping grounds in the Anchorage are later this month (after an aborted attempt in 2019). The comments in Foreflight indicate that clearing customs at Northway may be difficult at present.
