Airpark RV-ers in West Michigan?

Is there anyone out there in VAF land living on an airport or runway in West Michigan? I'm curious about opportunities in the area for a hangar home, and what the culture is like at the airport communities nearby.

A couple of years ago Alan Wright posted that he was based on this private field just west of Kalamazoo. I checked, and he hasn't posted anything for a couple of years.

I'm not far from Grand Rapids, my wife and I built at Ottawa Executive (Z98) 6 years ago. There is one house for sale and 7 or 8 lots. We just had one house sell last winter and the new owners are really nice people. I also met the people that bought a lot several months ago, they plan on building in 1 or 2 years.

The association did have some hard feelings with the airport owners but things are now much better. Send me a PM if you'd like to discuss, better yet come on out and I'll show you around.
