As a data point for those of you concerned about the FAA's aircraft registration process, I just received my official Certificate of Aircraft Registration from the FAA ten days after I mailed in the registration application package (i.e., Aircraft Bill of Sale, registration application, Affidavit of Ownership, reserved N-number request, etc.). I am impressed by the speed at which the FAA processed this application. Maybe the other shoe will soon drop ....
