Aiming FlyLEDs lights

So how should I aim my FlyLEDs?

They are in the wingtips of my 9A.
I was thinking taxi lights straight ahead.
But the main beam does want to go straight ahead without the reflector hitting. I was thinking these main actually want to be out a little so that if I am in a **** on final i still have light down the runway.

Any thoughts?

What's your approach attitude? Mine is slightly nose up, so my lights are aimed down a little so they illuminate the runway on final.

Taxi: if aimed straight ahead half the light is going into outer space. I’d aim them down a bit.
Landing: most useful for judging the flare, I’d aim them down more than the taxi lights.

How about left right aimimg?

With wingtip lights, I aim both pretty much straight ahead. There’s a dark region just in front of the nose, and while taxiing I don’t want to drop the nose in a pothole, or hit other debris, so I’m thinking about adding an inboard or engine cowling light.
