Aileron bracket rivets

I have a quick question concerning the rivet clearance between the outboard aileron bracket and outboard rib. It doesn't appear as if I am going to have the clearance required to set a rivet. Did I miss a step and not trim down the outboard rib? If I rivet it properly (shop head on thicker material) the factory head won't sit flush (it has a little overhang on the rib's trailing edge flange). Is it acceptable to trim the factory head a little so the rivet sits flush, or could I rivet it from the other direction (Think a shop head might just fit...but with little clearance)? Or do I need to drill it all out and trim the flange? How did others out there cope with this?
Thanks,
Brandon

Aileron Bracket Rivet Callout

If I understood your question correctly, look at print 13A (quadrant A4). The drawing shows that you should use AN426AD3-4 rivets for all A-408 to A-403PP to A-705, FLUSH HEAD on forward side of A-408.

I do not remember having to trim anything in this area. The link below will take you to a pict showing my outboard bracket. Check that picture to see if I am correctly calling out your area of question.

Reading your post (again), are you talking about the aileron brackets on the wing? If so, see my picture below. If you notice my gray primer, this was an area that I made a mistake in the rivet call out. Again, even on the wing, I did not have to trim anything in this area either. A picture of your issue would help if either of these didn't answer your question.

Your mileage may vary.
