AFP manifold alignment?

Should the AFP fuel manifold be true to vertical or can I leave it slightly off (about 10 degrees)? I have seen a while back on the old site of this concern but have started back to building again after a year. If it needs to be truly vertical, how?

Terry, do you mean the injector body? That can be at any angle. The only engine mounted fuel component that is attitude sensitive is a carburettor because of the needle valve and float level. Pete

No, I'm talking about the electric fuel pump that is offered by AFP that is under the fuel valve. Thanks anyhow.

Boost pump mounting

The boost pump can be mounted in any position. Keep it at or below the level of fuel in the tanks.
