Advanced Flight Systems AOA air/water drain???

Dual 5600, has AOA
Pilot side wing has port on top of and beneath wing.
Directions seem to indicate a need to drain a air/water separator before flight and at inspections.

Where is the drain and how do I drain it? It looks like maybe one just jams a piece of wire in the bottom port? I do not seem to have a wire like that in the plane.

No you don’t push the wire into the bottom port.
The top and bottom ports will be laterally offset by around 2” if installed IAW the instructions.
Immediately below the top port in the bottom skin there should be a second hole.
That’s the hole you push the wire through to hit the drain valve in the bottom of the top port.
If you don’t have the original wire then make yourself one out of a coat hanger or piano wire.
It’s a little bit fiddly, it may require some practice.

These MAY help, you can visualize actual pin as delivered from AdvFlt, also relative position & size of holes (drain pin hole is BIGGER).
Excerpts from Manual.
Holes in wing SHOULD have a placard descriptive circle installed...
