ADSB/TIS Question

I have noticed that my Skyview Touch displays the status of "ADSB OK", but occasionally swaps to "TIS OK" message. I do not understand what triggers the status change. I have not been able to come up with an answer researching this forum or the Dynon manuals. Can anyone give me an explanation of exactly what's going on?

Page 7-32 of the latest user guide.

ADS-B OK means you have full ADS-B coverage. If ADS-B goes away, then the system will chose the next best traffic source, which is TIS if you are in a Mode-S radar coverage area. This will be TIS OK.

Both ADS-B and TIS have pretty equivalent traffic coverage in terms of aircraft near you. ADS-B can show them farther away.
