A small thing that's confusing me

The KAI asks you to paste sealant around three holes (not all four) of the GEA 24 backplate. Why? There must be a reason ...

The three unused holes are sealed by the F-00145 plate, the other 4 holes are sealed when you cover the screw heads with sealant (step 3).
