A Little Timeline Help Please!

For those further along, I am worrying about when I will be ready for the engine kit, I don't want to be left waiting for it to arrive. Judging my rate of progress in my kitlog, when do you think I should order the engine kit? (current lead time is showing 2-3 weeks at Vans)

Following your build for a while my guess would be that you don't need to worry about the engine until you have at least started on the Finish kit. A lot of the work in the Finish Kit is resin stuff and messy work with the tank. Both tasks require you to wait until the stuff is cured and so it will naturally slow you down ...

For what it is worth, Van's tells me this morning that the engines are currently "in stock"!
