912uls electric fuel pump

Thinking about replacing the original electric fuel pump installed in a legacy RV-12 912uls with the slightly higher PSI model from Facet. With the tunnel cover removed it looks like the push/pull rods for the flaperons wil interfere with the removal/installation of the fuel pump. Any suggestions/tips/advice?

Check out Van's NOTIFICATION 18-07-12. This calls out the optional (but recommended) swap out from the original fuel pump to a higher pressure version. The instructions confirm your suspicions--you'll have to remove the flaperon push rods to gain access. IIRC, it was an afternoon's work and I stopped getting Low Fuel Pressure alerts on climb outs.

Thanks, that's the information I needed.
