7A Maingear leg - bolt length

Hi all,

Re the nosedragger maingear leg to gear tower attach bolts.....

Plans show these as AN5-22A with 1 washer and nut.....but the grip length is too long...

Did anyone else have the same problem and if so what was your fix...order new shorter bolts or add washer/s ?

I would like these to be 100% as my pilot technique will no doubt test them to max design limits

On a side note the bolt size gauge supplied by Vans with the kit does not seem as accurate for the longer length bolts

If I recall correctly, I just added another washer. Pretty sure that's what I did and it's fine after 95+ hours.
