7A Gear attach bolts

Hi all and a Happy New Year to all RV'ers

With ref to the 6 x AN4-12A bolts which attach the wd-721 gear mount weldment to the spars did anyone else find that the bolts called out on Dwg 34A are too short ? They do not show the minimum 1-2 threads
Is there a reason for this (I haven't trial fitted my wings yet for e.g. but I can't see any obvious interference) or should I query Van's about replacements...
If others replaced them are -13A's long enough ?

I had the same problem. When I called Vans they said they supply both 12's and 13's in the hardware kit, so just use the 13's. For me the 13's worked perfectly.
