It sure makes you go back and read it over again, when they tell you to hook the cockpit light wires up to the autopilot disconnect switch wires!
I can just see it now, push the disconnect switch - and the cockpit lights go out.

It's clever, really

The idea is that the Dynon's auto-dim will also dim the red light in the AP disconnect switch. They wired the cockpit lights into that circuit as well so the Dynon will also auto-dim the cockpit lights.

I screwed up again this morning using logic. Ran the OAT wire to the center then up thru the hoops to the panel, it would obviously go there to some readout right? Wrong, when checking to see which hole it went to, darn thing goes to the REAR.
