For the record, and those pondering the never ending debate of priming the interior, I just finished priming the QB fuselage interior (including removable covers and panels), and earlier completed priming the empenage kit and all it's miscellaneous parts.
Total primer used: 1 gallon (exactly). Primer weight: 3.6-lbs (theoretically).
According to Sherwin Williams aerospace coatings (this was chromated epoxy primer, a loverly pea-soup green), 1 gallon of coverage weighs 3.6-lbs. Figuring a lot of over-spray on the many small parts, and some spillage, etc., I figure realistically I've added more like 2.5 lbs. Adding back a bit for the rattle-can spray used for touch-up and missed areas, I'd take it up to 3-lbs.
A good trade for me (young-ish builder worried about long-term corrosion in the interior).
YMMV![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
