18-05 What rivets for pivot brackets?

As the actuation brackets are riveted with solid rivets and as the pivot brackets are made of the same material, same thickness, I was going to rivet the pivot brackets with the same solid rivets as the actuation brackets. Having a look at Marty's log, I saw that his pivot brackets were riveted with pulled rivets. Although it's not very clear on the instruction page, I thought that the pulled rivets were used only for the ribs, not for thicker material like the brackets. If that is the case, there should be a call for longer pulled rivets than for the ribs.
A search or other web sites did not provide any clarification.
Any advice?

Never mind, my mistake!

Actually the pop rivets are clearly called for on one of the pivot bracket on the drawing. I'm glad I looked at Marty's web site's pictures, not that solid rivets would be bad, just more difficult to set.
