0320 constant speed

Ok, I changed the title from my core one. I would like to convert this engine to a constant speed prop. E2C 0320 from a Musketeer. I removed the front plug and there is no rear plug presently, just a cross drilling tube. If I was to send this crank to a rebuilder, could they rear plug it? What would be a good model code to follow, since this engine isn't listed for conversion. I supose there also are modifications to the case to make this happen too?

Too many things to look for to list in this post.

Start with Lycoming Service Instruction SI1435. It is available on the Lycoming Web Site. I have it linked above directly to the Lycoming web site.

Remember you need the accessory case machined to accept a governor drive adapter. The crankcase needs to have the correct bearing in the nose and a port on the right hand side of the engine in front of cylinder # 1.

Hope this gets you started down the road on what is needed.
