General Vans Questions for the -15 repeat offenders

What is the situation for seats, is it just a seat frame like I had for my Bearhawk and I source the actual cushions? I used Sport Aircraft Seats and they are awesome. Just flew this week from Utah to South Carolina and they were fantastic

I/we will be having an engine built by the same shop that built my BH engine, it will be an IO-390, will the Vans FWF kit have everything needed? By everything needed I mean hoses, oil cooler/s, starter, alternator?

I am asking for both informational and cost planning reasons.

#1: No one knows (including Vans) because the seats aren’t yet designed.
#2: Vans hasn’t designed a final fuselage yet, much less a FWF kit, so….no one knows….

Thanks Paul, so what have they done with previous kits? Maybe that will be a clue for us newbies

Edited to ask: I figure you are in the know, Oshkosh is just around the corner…. Seems the fuselage would be getting finalized for Osh?

Being as all others were low wing, and the seat bottom pan sat on top of the spar...
you can bet the high wing seat design will be quite different.

The prototype airplane has slightly modified C – 150 seats installed, that were way too short in height. So a custom designed seat frame will likely be part of the finish kit.
