I heard from AOPA website that delayed a bit waiting for new adminstrator at FAA. Comments still being excepted.

I asked the same question of AOPA last week.
Here is the response.
" Thank you for contacting the pilot information center. We have not recieved any word back yet from the FAA. We are hoping to hear back the first quarter of next year. Basically everything is on hold until the FAA gets a full time director rather than an interim director as they have now. This should happen now that elections are over. As soon as we know, we will certainly be advising our members of the results.
