TT A/P screen problem

I just fired up the TruTrack A/P in our new project a couple days ago-----and the readout screen is Kaput. A few pixels are lighting up, but not enough to be able to read.

I seem to recall that there was an issue with this a few years back, and I believe someone found a way to repair the readout.

But, after almost an hour of searching both VAF, and Google, no joy.

This is a flat pack Digiflight II, GSVG.

Any ideas out there?
