Default Lobster truck flyin

Weather in the East was awesome today. Butch in his 6A and I headed Northeast to Lake Norman NC, 14A . For their Lobster FlyIn.

Gary Sobek in his 6 flew over from GoldHill NC25, just a 15 minute flite and met us.

The Lobster Truck arrived and started to setup.

Brand new tables were setup with lotsa space between them.
[IMG][/IMG]

The primary food of course was a tasty bread roll filled fairly well with large chunks of lobster. $16.95. Bag of chips was included.

A line formed with generous spacing between all customers. Total guess at number served was maybe 200. Seemed like everyone enjoyed the event including plane watching. Saw several large cameras being used. Maybe more pictures will appear from them here.

Boy, I wish I had known about that. Do they do this often?

We went right on by to the Pik-n-Pig yesterday.

The place was packed! I don't think I have seen so many planes there at one time.

Default Question pik n pig

Where is the appropriate place to park? Went there last year, and parked in front Restaurant , off taxi way. On departure, prop blasted the outside seating area. Lucky no one outside.

Most park in the grass along side the runway.

Unhappy I wanted to go..but no ADSB yet

I couldn't make it because I have slacked on doing my ADSB, and its only a 15 minute flight from my home..time to get my stuff in order!! Unfortunately for me, Lake Norman is right in the CLT airspace.
