Default First flight of the first RV10 in China

Glad to report the successful first flight of the first RV10 built in China. I was one of the two crews for the first flight. The Chinese regulation allows more than one test crews that are necessary for the test flights. The first flight was a bit short due to high CHT temperature, reaching 430F so we landed in about 20 min. After about 5 hours further flight in three days, all squawks are fixed. The RV10 flies really nice now. Here are some pictures from the test flights. There is a RV14 almost complete. Hope to see more RVs, and experimental aircraft in general, in China.

Shawn, I still watch you RV-7 build videos from time to time. Glad to see you flight testing again.

Thanks, Steve! I hope I will be doing more RV flight testing as well. At least I will flight test my own RV10, which is in a really slow build process now. It will get done!

Thumbs up Bravo!

Congratulations, great looking aircraft and certainly a fantastic achievement!

Guess building a private (is it?) aircraft out of a kit in your country must be quite challenging to say the least...
The place is big, are there many restrictions for GA? Hope you will be able to enjoy the fruit of your labor (and expenses...) for many hours
