Default HDX panel upgrade

Recently had Saint Aviation replace a 6 pack with 10" HDX, install new G5, XM radio and upgraded 430W to 650. He did an outstanding job. The combination is a great IFR/VFR platform. It works well with Vision 385 AP. They guys did an excellent job with the wiring and the install. Truely a profession install. I would highly recommend both the product and Saint Aviation to anyone thinking of an upgrade.

Curious why you kept the Vision AP instead of going with the integrated... Not wanting to swap out servos?

I kept 385 for a couple reasons... not wanting to change servos, and back up if the screen (and battery back up) fail. I will change out in the future. I can switch AP over to Skyview to do GPS NAV mode from the Skyview flight plan and track mode from HDG bug on the panel.

Michael, I noticed your canopy struts are mounted up side down. Mounted with the shaft down, the seal gets better lubrication. Also, the strut has a built in buffer that will keep the canopy from banging at the top of the extension. This will only work if it is properly installed.
