Silpruf Windshield Question

Hey - I have the rear and door windows all Silprufed in. The windshield is fit and I am getting ready to glue that in as well.

I am planning on using Silpruf in the fiberglass joggle, similar to the other windows. What I am wondering about is where the windshield sits on top of the AL fuselage.

Did you also run a fillet of Silpruf to attach the windshield to the AL, or did you use the micro mixture as suggested in the RV-10 manual. Either way I will need to install the fiberglass fairing over the joint, but wondering which method would work best?

No. The edge of the windshield abutting the forward top skin is usually done as per plans. Some have had a fairing made too but Silpruf is not used in either solution.
