Default RV-4 or RV8

I'm currently looking at these two models and haven't had the ability to "check the fit". I've only seen the RV-8 from a distance but never the 4. I'm 6'2" and 230 #'s. If anyone in the area has a completed plane I would love to come check it out. Please let me know.

Flying RV-8 at Dogwood Airpark (VA42) in Fredericksburg if you want to drive/fly down. I think there is an RV-4 here as well, but will need to check.

I'm the exact same size and weight. Before ordering my -8 kit, I sat in Van's demonstrator and it was a perfect fit. I expected that, because Van's designed the RV-8 for guys our size. I haven't sat in an RV-4, but I can tell it would be a tighter fit.

Why not an F1 Rocket or an F4 Raider? No fit problems there!

Default Try an F1 or F4

Before you build or buy you really should try on an F1 Rocket or the F4 Raider.

yes the four is a tighter fit. you don't get in a RV-4, you put it on. that said, i'm 6'2 250 and fit just fine in mine.
