I've got one that I bought from Van's years ago. Mine is just plain metal, not red. The threaded rod galled so I gave up on the handle, replaced the rod, and now use a ratcheting box end wrench. Works great, very secure. I use it on all three wheels.
I have one like this but I don't remember who made it. I've tested it and it works fine but I've never needed to use it in the field. I cut some foam, nested the pieces and placed it in the baggage area. I always carry it.
I would really love to see how it works. I work at the Repair Barn at Oshkosh and we have tried several jack Ideas in the past. None were that great. We help a lot of people change flat tires.
From the instructions in the photo.
Remove the Wheel faring
Install and tighten the band clamp around the gear leg
Chock the wheel that will be remaining on the ground
Position the jack over and just inboard of the wheel
Slide the hook around the gear leg between the axle and the band clamp
Slowey turn crank and raise the wheel off the ground.
