G430 drivers

I was running a simulator today of the Garmin 430W. I activated an approach with a holding pattern. When I get near the point of holding, I want to cancel the hold and go straight to the approach. I can do that by going to the flight plan and deleting the hold step in the plan. This takes 6 to 8 button pushes. Is there a simple way to delete or pass over a holding pattern with one or two button pushes?

Well, still takes more than 2 pushes:
push flt plan, push knob and rotate to highlight the next fix after the holding fix,
push direct direct (twice) enter. This will activate the leg after the fix.
OR,
If it's straight in from there, push proc, menu, vectors to final.

Direct

I'm assuming you are tracking 'direct' to the holding fix and that you begin the approach at the same fix. (IAF and Holding are the same fix) Simply reselect 'direct' to the second fix of the same name (IAF) and it will drop the hold.

Also, depending on where the hold is, you can hit the "Proc" button then "Activate Vectors to Final".
