6A landing light location

My 6A has a small ding in the leading edge centered between the second and third rib from the tip (second bay). The most common landing light location is the first bay from the tip. I can get two birds with one stone if I cut the ding out and put the landing light in the second bay. Thoughts??

This has been done on other RV's of this wing design.

May be possible but just more difficult to reach in from the wingtip.

You may want to bring the lighting wires out to the wingtip before returning them to the lights.
