Hey gang I need some opinions. I screwed up on the first page of the empennage. From searching the forums it seems like a common place to make early mistakes. I was trimming the VS-702 Front Spar as instructed and I think the plans and I had a different idea of how to trim to the bottom of the VS-01401 doubler meant. The result is that I trimmed the flange on the front spar more than I should have making the bottom of the spar rounded following the curve of the doubler rather than straight across.
Is this going to be a problem and have I made my first piece of scrap or should I build on? I'm a little worried that some folks that trimmed when and where instructed later had problems with the length of VS-702 and maybe I just made my problem worse.
Thoughts?
