Thirty years and change after my commissioning ceremony at Medina I've never regretted my decision. Today I envy the kids joining. Congratulations to your grandson for his decision, and to you for your example.
to be proud indeed. USAF helped me get near the things I loved... planes that is! Bad eyes kept me on the ground but I never regret working on F-4 Phantoms! What did you do Mel?
Congratulations, Mel! My son is Royal Canadian Air Force, but currently training on the T-38 under the tender care of USAF instructors at Sheppard AFB in Texas. I am very proud of him, and can't wait to get him up for the first time in my RV when he comes home for Christmas Again; congratulations!
