Default RV9 Training

Hello there. I just bought a RV9 tail wheel. I can't find anyone in south Fl to train me in a RV9 or RV7. Insurance is very strict. They require instructor to have at least 25h in RV 7 or 9. Does anyone know anybody in my area? I checked with Mike Seagar in Oregon but he is booked for months so that is not an option.

Andrei.

Default Welcome to VAF

Andrei, welcome to VAF

Try Jan in Florida.

Alex in Texas might also be a good choice.

Default tailwheel training

Hi Andrei, call Jan Bussell. He is near lake Okeechobee, Florida. Goggle his name, it looks like he is still in business. Check with your insurance co as he trains with a RV6. Listed number 561 628-2105. I recommend him.

Thanks David, I am gonna try Jan Again, I did couple of flights with him but he is been sick and he sold his 2 airplanes. He is actually not too far from me. I may have to fly with a local tail wheel instructor to get my TW endorsement and then find someone for transition.
