Default xCruze Lower Mounting Holes from ADI Pilot II

I'm upgrading from a TruTrak ADI Pilot II to the new Bendix King xCruze 110 (a.k.a. TT Gemini). The ADI Pilot II has two knobs on the bottom where there are normally two instrument mounting screws, so my panel has two notches where the knobs went.
The new xCruze has only one knob in the middle of the display, so I need to find a way to fasten the lower two screws. Anybody got ideas for how to fill in the holes/notches?

I'm thinking some kind of modified countersunk washer may be needed (painted to match the panel).
