Source for wheel pants plugs

I was out at Chino over the weekend at met some great folks?Dan, Alex, Bill, John, Anthony, etc, and checked out some very slick RVs. I know from my Diamond DA-20 experience that checking tire pressures can be a pain with wheel pants.

Some RVs had what looked like stainless steel plugs on the pants for valve stem access. Anyone know a source for these? or has anyone made little hinged trap doors for access?

Larger than 1" plugs?

Does someone have a source or an idea for larger plugs than 1" in diameter?
You still have to point direct on the valve with a 1" opening.

If you paint a positioning stripe on your tire sidewall, you can hit the valve stem easily with a 1" opening. My stripe points straight down when the valve stem is in position. I leave the hole open and sacrifice 0.01 knots.

For plastic plugs, you are only samples away from holey bliss:

Not sure if Stimpson is as generous for metal plugs, but they are readily available on line:
