Alclad really works!

I am in the middle of a serious piece of repair and needed to remove a fuselage side skin. The damage is to a 1987 built RV-4 and in the process of removing the skin, I noticed that the original builder had not removed or abraided the skin were it is overlapped by the top skin nor the middle skin beneath the cockpit. It doesn't look like any joint sealant was used either. Thought forum viewers might be interested, the aircraft is over 25 years old and has spent its life in Oregon and Southern England, clearly two arid climates! Here goes with the link.....
