Default Interior covers rear vents, possible fixes?

Im finally getting around to putting an interior in my plane and it covers up the stock rear vents. Im thinking that maybe I can cut a hole and install an automotive type vent but then I still have to figure out a control to manipulate the vent flap.

If anyone has done something like this before Id appreciate any info you have.
Thanks

Nick

I'm pretty sure the Aerosport one does the same, and they offer an automotive-type vent to mount on it:

They have a specific manual about it which I think may be helpful:

Any vent that you can put a slot for the lever would work. I personally did all Aerosport interior and their versions worked great.

In our opinion, it is really depends on whether you have an overhead console with vents. With our we have 8 vents and side vents are not necessary. We also have the side panels covered with real leather that is a good option for the finishing of the walls. We will be glad to help you to find the best solution, just give us a call. Talk to Eliane at 561-454-9201.
