Canadian source for tempest oil filter?
Aircraft spruce canada is showing no stock for Tempest AA48110-2 oil filters, and their website says no stock until Feb!! Weird. Does anybody know of another source in Canada for these? Or an alternative replacement filter that will work?

Lifetime oil filter
Switch to a reusable/lifetime filter -- see https://kandpengineering.com/products/
You will need the SF15 with the 3/4-3/4-16 nipple.

Thanks! I don't see an SF15. Did you mean the S15?

And that's all i need? How does it work - you wash these things out somehow between oil changes?

& as it happens just received a Tempest 48110-2 off B/O from ACS Canada yesterday.

Oil filter
If you don’t need them immediately, order at ACS. I did and eventually got my filter in approximately 3 months.
