Elevator Trailing Edge Crack

I made my initial trim tab opening bend about 1/8" or so too far outboard, and in the process of "unbending" I inadvertently flattened the trailing edge. I opened it back up with my bending block, but now there's about a 3/8" crack along the trailing edge.

Make a "drain hole" at the end of the crack or order a new skin?

I wonder if there is a reason you couldn't stop drill it and then fill it with a tiny dab of JB or flocks.
