Default Open

Yes. Fine at slower speeds all the way open and at any speed just slightly open. When completely open and as the speed goes up it shakes a bit too much for my liking but it’s fine down around 100 knots or so. I keep wanting to make something to hold the canopy about three inches open for summer ops. It wants to slide closed at high speed, but lets in a nice breeze.

If the RV-3 canopy install is anything like the RV-7 I can't imagine that would be a good idea.

Default It’s not an RV-7

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but it’s not an RV-7. Opens fine in flight.
